Fake woom shops are out there – stay alert!

Recently, more and more fake shops have appeared online pretending to sell genuine woom bikes. But they don’t – and we want to keep you safe!

These fake websites lure people in with extremely low prices or “exclusive discounts” – tempting at first glance, but potentially very costly: no delivery, no warranty, no real woom bike.

To help you stay safe, here are a few signs of a fake shop:

  1. Web addresses that do not start with woom.com (e.g. woom-eu.shop or woomkids.shop are fake)
  2. Incorrect contact info, like support@woom-eu.shop instead of our official woom@woom.com
  3. Prices that seem too good to be true (they usually are!)
  4. No legal notice, no real business details or company address outside Austria or the USA

💡 Important to know: Some of these pages even accept common payment methods – which makes them even harder to spot.

What to do if you already placed an order with a fake shop?

If you've already sent money, contact your bank immediately and see if the transaction can be reversed.

✅ Our tip: Order your woom bike directly at woom.com or from one of our authorized retailers.

That’s the only way to get a genuine woom product – with warranty, service, and lots of woom love.

If you're unsure whether a shop is legit, send us the link at woom@woom.com – we're happy to check it for you.

Feel free to share this info with friends and family – the more people know, the better.

Stay alert and #enjoytheride
