What are you doing to ensure good working conditions in the production facilities of your partner companies?

We are committed to ensuring fair production conditions for every individual working at a woom facility and this is something we’re continuously monitoring. It’s an ongoing process.

We have developed a code of conduct for the suppliers specialised in bike manufacturing that are producing items for woom. It is based on the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact, the Conventions of the UN International Labour Organisation (ILO), the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) and all applicable laws at the respective production sites. As of July 2022, 93% of our suppliers have signed the Code of Conduct. We are working to increase this figure to 100% and are currently in negotiations to do just that. Furthermore, we are in the process of developing a comprehensive audit programme to verify compliance with our Code of Conduct at the production sites.
