What's the purpose of the green brake lever?

The rear brake lever and brake pads on our balance bikes (woom 1 and woom 1 PLUS) and smaller pedal bikes (woom 2 and woom 3) are green. This colour code system helps your child to understand which brake they are using and prevents them from mixing up the front and rear brake. The green brake lever on the right-hand side of the bars controls the rear wheel. The black lever on the left brakes the front wheel. As the woom 1 only comes with one brake, there is no danger of this kind of mix-up. And yet the brake is still green to help your child get comfortable with that important rear brake so that when they move on to a larger bike they will intuitively know which brake to use first.
