Why hasn't my order been delivered yet?

If you've ordered a product from us and are still waiting for it to be delivered, it could be due to various reasons. The bike boom, the ongoing pandemic, and the resulting record demand for bicycles in general has presented both us and our suppliers and producers with an enormous challenge.

On the one hand, there are production bottlenecks due to covid-related, scaled-back operations in our supplier companies and longer delivery times for raw materials – for instance, aluminium is in very high demand right now – meaning that suppliers are unable to meet the demand for components and adhere to standard delivery times. On the other hand, the circulation of shipping containers in global trade has suffered massive disruption, causing shipping problems and increasing shipping times. Some shipping lines have halted bookings and have completely stopped taking future bookings.

The upshot of this is that currently many components are arriving for assembly later than expected. The delivery time for derailleurs, for instance, has increased from 90 days to 600 days. A woom bike requires not only a very long development time but also a great deal of production planning, which has been massively disrupted by unforeseen occurrences.

We provided the projected delivery period at the time you placed your order in good faith and to the best of our knowledge. Nevertheless, due to the current conditions, it is possible that we won't always be able to meet the projected delivery period.
