Are used woom bikes covered by the warranty?
The warranty on woom bikes is tied to the product and not a person. Provided that the purchase receipt has been passed on to the new owner, the 2-year standard warranty can be transferred to them.
The extended 10-year warranty can only be transferred to a new owner if they are a member of the woom Riders Club. If the original owner did not activate the extended warranty, it will not be possible for the new owner to activate it.
You can join the woom Riders Club here.
When you buy a used bike, you must have it inspected at a bike repair shop after the purchase so that we can legally transfer the extended 10-year warranty to you. Make sure you keep the service receipt. You will need it in the event of damage.
The warranty is not extended after it has been transferred. It is still only valid for 2 or 10 years from the date on which the bike was purchased as new.
