Can I register a used woom bike for the 10-year warranty? How does that work?

It depends.

For all woom bikes newly purchased on or after 1 June 2022, registration by the original buyer is required within nine weeks. If a new bike isn't registered within the first nine weeks of the purchase, it's no longer eligible for registration, even if the bike is later sold on.

For used woom bikes purchased by the original owner between 1 June 2020 and 31 May 2022, but NOT registered for the 10-year warranty, we have created a transition period to allow purchasers of used woom bikes to extend their warranty. To activate the extended warranty, the following requirements must be met:

  • You are in possession of the original proof of purchase.
  • You take your used woom bike to a bike shop for servicing immediately after you buy it and retain the receipt for servicing.
  • You register your woom bike by 30 September 2022, at the latest, via this online form in order to extend the warranty from two to ten years. Please send us proof of the initial purchase and an invoice for servicing (service receipt) after the purchase.
