What are the differences between the chainguards for the woom ORIGINAL 3 AUTOMAGIC and the woom ORIGINAL 3?

The woom ORIGINAL 2 and 3 bikes are fitted with a two-winged, closed chainguard.

Meanwhile, the woom ORIGINAL 3 AUTOMAGIC has a one-winged, upper only chainguard that is open at the bottom.

As the AUTOMAGIC hub gearing system is protected against rain, dirt, bumps and crashes, it requires little to no maintenance. As is the norm on any bike (with or without gears), the chain still needs cleaning and lubricating on a regular basis. These maintenance tasks are straightforward as the chainguard is open at the bottom and does not need to be removed for the chain to be serviced.
