What's the purpose of the steering limiter?

Our specially developed steering limiter supports your child when learning to ride by preventing crashes that are commonly caused by overturning the handlebars, thereby minimizing injury.

It consists of a rubber band sewn into a webbing strap, plus bolts attaching it onto the fork and frame.

The stretchy rubber band creates gentle, flexible resistance when turning the bars to their limit. In the event that your child crashes and falls onto the bars, the handlebars won't cause an additional hurdle – they will turn past the limiter to lie flat on the ground, rather than getting in the way. This helps to reduce injuries.
